The sports facility received a modern, appealing logo consisting of word and figurative mark, which is aimed at the sportive audience and embodies the history of the company's origins. Schuhhaus Gruber

For the local shoe store "Schuhhaus Gruber" in Schwandorf I was honored to support another small business to become more visually recognizable. The logo, consisting of word and figurative mark, combines the classic style of the company and its products, which are inspired by the Art Nouveau era, with a modern visual language. Business cards and stickers in the style of the logo were also created to provide the predominantly middle-aged audience with an easy way to make contact.

Arts and Crafts by Petra Jakubek

For the hobby artist Petra Jakubek I designed a logo that brings her two passions painting and knitting to a common denominator, with a special focus on the work with her own hands. The slogan "Arts and Crafts" was chosen for the word mark, which is intended to show that the artist finds herself in diverse areas of art and handicrafts. At the same time it is an allusion to the art movement of the same name in the 19th century. The color scheme, which is also reflected in her business card, was created according to one of her most striking paintings.

Hi, I'm Laura.

The human behind this purple magic world!

On my journey to become a freelance designer, my wide range of interests in art and technology allowed me to let craft and creativity become one.

Right before university, I visited a school particularly for Design, in order to develop my artistic abilities where I learned drawing, painting and core elements of graphic design and photography.
In my bachelor's studies, I initially focused on art history, but supplemented this with a far more technical field - Media Information Technology.
With a focus on User Experience Design and User Centered Design, I was allowed to gain my skills in software engineering and especially web development and can now combine this skillset with my creative streak.

I want to give my clients' products, projects and brands a unique appearance from head to toe. It may start with a logo and styleguide and then further extend in the form of print and screen marketing to a fully functional web presence. A memorable look for your corporate identity!

Where can you find me?
Basically everywhere! Because I take advantage of working digitally to collaborate with clients all over the world. Maybe you've heard of the term Digital Nomad? Because that's what you might call me.
I'm from Germany, but mainly stay in Southwest Europe and chase the waves in my free time. Since the sport of surfing requires a certain flexibility in terms of location, I decided to live in a van and don't want to miss the minimalism that comes with it!
